Magic Markers

I distinctly remember when I first bought a CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain. I walked all the way to the nearest drugstore (PHEW) with $20 in my pocket to buy a chocolate bar, a NYLON, and a little something from the cosmetics department. Pretty much the best way to make a bad day better (chocolate + new Louis Vuitton ads and fashion spreads + a new lipgloss = Cure for ANYTHING. If I develop a terminal illness, I’d like to be surrounded by all these things, with maybe a couple friends and some Ginger ale). While I was there, I was intruiged by the idea of a lip MARKER; I was somewhat of a makeup rookie back then and considered putting on eyeliner a dangerous adventure. It was also my first time buying CoverGirl makeups, so I figured I should give it a try. I sauntered over to the counter (yes, my drugstore has a makeup COUNTER; I’m blessed with possibly the best Shoppers in a 40 mile radius less than a mile away). The lady pointed out her favorite color – 415, I think it is – and began to gush in a hushed voice about it being the ultimate My Lips But Better product.
And I agree. Wholeheartedly. It has a really nice raspberry sent and taste, and as long as your lips are moisturized and dry it glides on smooth. Its one of the products I probably couldn’t live without, and its less than $10!

Secret Ingredient

My concoction for complexion perfection:

Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 + Benefit High Beam + Estee Lauder Perfect Match foundation.
A shimmering tinted moisturizer with perfect coverage! I just mix it on the back of my hand, and rub it in with my fingers.
